WHICH BALMY IS BEST FOR MY CHILD?

After helping over 100,000 families choosing their Balmy Drum, here's what you need to know about choosing the right size:

All sizes are equally easy for children to play. The only difference is sound quality, layout spacing and included content.

Sound Differences:

Larger drums (Zen & Zen Pro): Fuller, deeper tones with rich resonance
Small drum (SM): Brighter, shorter tones with compact sound

What's Included:

Zen & Zen Pro: More songs, extra accessories & premium carrying case
SM: Basic starter package

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT AGE 📅

One common misunderstanding is associating drum size with the child's age. In truth, size has nothing to do with age - it's about sound and layout.

Even for a 3-year-old, a larger drum like the Zen Pro can be an excellent fit. The wider spacing often makes it easier for young children to explore, not harder.

PARENTS' RECOMMENDATION ✅

Based on thousands of families' experiences:

Most parents who start with smaller drums end up wanting to upgrade.

Larger drums not only produce much richer, deeper tones - they also come with significantly more included content.

Since all sizes are equally easy for children to play, choosing a larger size gives you better sound quality AND more value from day one.

You can avoid both the upgrade cost and the regret of missing out on the complete experience.

"Love at first sound! My daughter is musically inclined, and we've tried a few instruments before - a keyboard, small guitar & a xylophone. The Balmy Drum has been our best choice by far! She plays it daily and chooses it over her tablet time. Really glad we found it!"
